A fabric running Fabric OS 5.2.0 or higher with a valid zoning license is called an Admin Domain-
capable fabric.
To manage Admin Domains, you must be a physical fabric administrator. A physical fabric
administrator is a user with the Admin role and access to all Admin Domains (AD0 through AD255).
Launching the Admin Domain Module
You can manage Admin Domains using the Admin Domain module of the Web Tools interface. From
the Admin Domain module you can:
create Admin Domains
rename Admin Domains
add and remove Admin Domain members
delete Admin Domains
activate and deactivate Admin Domains
The following procedure describe how to launch the Admin Domain module from Fabric Manager.
To launch the Admin Domain module
1. Right-click a fabric and select AD Admin from the context menu.
Web Tools launches and displays the Admin Domain module, as shown in Figure 12-1. See the
Web Tools Administrator’s Guide for instructions on using this module.
