‐ The Brocade 7840 uses common licenses with other midrange products (e.g. Brocade

6510) for IR and CUP.

• All ports and interfaces on the switch are active except for the 40GE interfaces. The 40GE interfaces

are enabled as part of WAN Rate Upgrade 2.
