Description:
The Space-Gard air cleaner utilizes a unique filter
media—similar to that used successfully for years in
hospitals, clinics, laboratories and clean rooms where
the level of airborne particles must be kept near
zero.
The three-speed blower draws polluted air from the
area, through the extended-surface, high-efficiency
filter media and exhausts air that has up to 98% of
the pollutant particles removed. Four filtration
principles are used— straining, diffusion,
impingement and interception. This, plus the
deep-space fold design of the media provides an
unusually large filtering area for exceptionally high
particle-holding capacities.
An important extra benefit of this new-fashioned air
cleaner is the high-efficiency operation without the
emission of toxic ozone.
The 2600 is designed to be used in restaurant or
dining area applications. One Space-Gard Model 2600
Air Cleaner will handle up to 15,000 cubic feet of
space. If tobacco smoke particulate removal is the
prime consideration, one Model 2600 should be
installed for every 25 smokers. In other applications,
unit capacity will vary with type and volume of
contaminants.
