To replace t he keyboard:
1. Connect t he keyboard connect or to the int erface connect or on t he syst em board.
2. I nsert t he five securing t abs on the keyboard int o t heir respect ive slots in the palm rest.
3. Replace t he two screws at t he t op of the keyboard.
4. Replace t he cent er control cover and snap it down so t hat it is flush w ith t he palm rest .
Adding a M ini PCI Card
I f you ordered a Mini PCI card wit h your com put er, t he card is already inst alled.
1. Ensure t hat t he work surface is flat and clean t o prevent scrat ching t he com put er cover.
2. Save and close any open files, exit any open program s, and t hen shut down t he com put er.
3. I f t he com put er is connect ed to a docking device ( docked) , undock it . See the docum ent ation that cam e
wit h your docking device for instruct ions.
4. Disconnect t he com put er from the elect rical out let .
5. Wait 10 to 20 seconds, and t hen disconnect any at t ached devices.
6. Rem ove any inst alled PC Cards and the bat t ery.

. I f you are replacing a Mini PCI card, rem ove t he
existing card:
a. Disconnect t he Mini PCI card from t he at t ached cables.
