OPERATION
4.6 Query Commands
Poll Poll Units (ACS 8.2)
Queries the RS-232 bus to detect which units are connected. In a multi-drop
RS-232 setup, units respond with delays proportional to the Unit ID so that no
units will have their transmitters enabled at the same time. Units respond by
sending their Unit ID back to the terminal. For example, if ID=0 and ID=6 are
present, the units respond with:

Note: The Unit ID prefix is not used with this command.
U Display Unit Name/Software Version (ACS 8.2)
Returns the name of the unit and the current DSP software version in the fol-
lowing text-readable format:

Software Version: 1.00<CR><LF>
Y Display Configuration Settings (ACS 8.2)
Returns a list of many of the unit’s configuration settings in the following text-
readable format:

SL Display Audio Switcher Status (ACS 8.2)
Returns the current status of the audio switcher. Line 1 of the response displays
which inputs are connected to Output 1, and line 2 displays which inputs are
connected to Output 2. For units with ID=0, the SL message is automatically
