3 Front Panel Operation
3.1 Front Panel Buttons
All basic switcher functions can be performed from the front panel by press-
ing one or a combination of the 12-switcher control buttons. The same functions can
likewise be performed using the Remote Control inputs associated with each button.
The following nomenclature is used in the function table that follows:
S Press the named button
S1 + S2 Press the named buttons at the same time
S Press and hold the button for 2.5 seconds
Any action using an Input button applies equally to all 8 stereo input chan-
nels. Where ‘(+ OP 2)’ is displayed in the action sequence, adding the OP 2 button
to the action causes the action to be performed on Output 2 instead of Output 1.

Dims all undimmed Inputs in both Outputs, and leaved Dimmed Inputs unchanged
Returns all Inputs to unity gain in both Outputs
Switches PPM meter, headphone, and powered monitor source between Output 1 and
Output 2
Disconnects Input from Output 1 (Output 2)
Connects Input to Output 1 (Output 2)
Connects Input to Output 1 (Output 2) and Disconnects all other Inputs from Output 1
(Output 2)
Connects Input to Output 1 (Output 2) when Input button pressed, and Disconnects all
other Inputs from Output 1 (Output 2) when Input button released
Connects Input to Output 1 (Output 2)
Connects Input to Output 1 (Output 2) and Disconnects all other Inputs from Output 1
(Output 2)
Connects Input to Output 1 (Output 2) when Input button pressed, and Disconnects all
other Inputs from Output 1 (Output 2) when Input button released
Fades Down Input in Output 1 (Output 2)
Fades Up Input from Dimmed level to unity gain in Output 1 (Output 2)
Fades Up Input in Output 1 (Output 2)
Fades Up Input in Output 1 (Output 2) and simultaneously Fades Down all other Inputs
connected to Output 1 (Output 2) at same rate.
Fades Up Input in Output 1 (Output 2) when Input button is pressed, and Fades Down all
other Inputs connected to Output 1 (Output 2) at same rate when Input button is released.
