OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
A. Standalone 1unit:
• Select one of the automatic modes or select a fixed color
• Select the static or sound control mode
• Refer to chapter [SETUP MENU] to learn how to make the previous settings.
B. Two or more units in master/slave setup:
• Set the slave mode for each projector: the first one has to be put in DMX mode or in a show mode (for
example : [FAdE])
• Connect all units to the mains. The units will start working automatically and show the internal chase
programs.
Remark: You can connect a JB Systems LEDCON-02 Mk2 or LEDCON XL remote controller to the
master unit if you want to have more control over the master/slave operation. All projectors must be in
LEDc mode!
C. Connect an optional JB Systems LEDCON-02 Mk2 or LEDCON-XL controller for more control:
Connect the controller to the DMX-input of the first unit (master). Make sure that the BT-AKKULITE IP
projectors are all set to
channel mode [LEDc]. Now you can control all the connected units in 4 or
8channel mode. Refer to the user manual of the JB Systems LEDCON-02 Mk2 or LEDCON XL controller
for more information.
D. Controlled by IR remote-controller:
Switch on the projector (5). Push button [ON] on the IR remote controller. [Jr--] will appear on the
display. You are now ready to use the IR remote controller.
When you turn the projector off with the IR remote controller, [Jr0F] will be shown on the display.
Before you can start using the projector with another controller you have to push one of the buttons
under the display ([MENU]-[▲]-[▼]-[ENTER]). The projector will now be disconnected from the IR
remote controller.
You can also use the IR remote controller with several projectors in Master-slave mode. Select the
desired color, fade on the Master. The slaves will follow the instructions from the Master projector.
E. Controlled by universal DMX-controller:
• Connect all units together. Refer to the chapter “Electrical installation for two
or more units in DMX-mode” to learn how to do this (don’t forget to address
all units properly!)
• Turn on the DMX controller.
Since each unit has its own DMX-address, you can control them individually.
Remember that each unit uses 4 to 10 DMX-channels as shown in the DMX
charts below:
