Dishwasher Safety
Remove thelter and printed materials before placing your
Brita Bottle™ in the dishwasher. The small push-pull cap, the
bottle, the large screw-on cap and the finger loop are
dishwasher safe (top rack only).
Storage Instructions
Empty water from your Brita Bottle™ Water Filtration System
before storing, and loosen large cap from the bottle to prevent
odors. After periods of nonuse or as required, wash bottle and
caps with warm water and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly.

This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 42 for reduction of the
substances listed. The concentration of each of the indicated substances in
water entering the systems was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to
the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI 42.
Testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions at a flow rate
of 0.20 gallons/minute. The contaminants or other substances removed or
reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in all users’ water.
Filter performance may vary based on local water conditions.
Please refer elsewhere in this User’s Guide for the proper conditioning and
use and care requirements. Maintenance according to the manufacturers
instructions is essential for proper filter performance. Replace the Brita Bottle
Filter every 40 gallons/151 liters.

The Brita Bottle™ Filter processes up to 40 gallons of
water and is intended to be used with a Brita Bottle™
filter inside.
Do not use hot water (max. temp. 85°F/29°C
min. temp. 34°F/1°C). Do not freeze bottle or filter.

product to perform as represented.
The Brita Bottle™ has been tested and certified by
NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42
for the reduction of chlorine (taste and odor) and
particulate reduction (class VI).
1. Hand-wash bottle with
mild soap. Rinse well.
2. Unscrew cap andll bottle
with cold tap water. Tighten
cap firmly (avoid squeezing
the bottle).
3. IMPORTANT: Squeeze one
full bottle of water through the
filter before use to activate.
It’s normal for black carbon
dust to appear.
4. Refill bottle and enjoy!
Replace filter every 2 months
or 40 gallons.
The Brita Bottle
Water Filtration System is not intended to purify water. Do not
use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without
adequate disinfection before or after the system. Individuals requiring water of
special microbiological purity should follow the advice of their doctor or local
health officials regarding the use and consumption of their tap water and Brita
®
filtered water. Substances reduced by this water treatment device are not
necessarily in all users’ water.
