Enclosure
Enclosures for the Brinkmann Stainless Steel
Door Kit should be constructed of durable,
flame-resistant materials.
The following general guidelines should be
followed:
Dimensions
Approximate outside dimensions for the
Brinkmann Stainless Steel Door Kit are
34.37" (873 mm) wide by 20.71" (526 mm)
high by 1.375" (35 mm) deep. Inside
dimensions are approximately 31.61"
(803 mm) wide by 19.5" (495 mm) high.
Be sure to allow an additional 6" (152 mm)
above the top of the propane tank inside
your enclosure.
Choose a good, cleared assembly area. Lay
cardboard down to protect assembly area.
CAUTION: Some parts may contain sharp
edges. Wear protective gloves if necessary.
Step 1
Place the Door Frame Assembly into the
rough opening of your cabinet from the
inside. Using the Door Frame Assembly as a
template, mark the position of holes needed
for the hinge pins and the screws to secure
your frame to your cabinet. Remove the Door
Frame Assembly.
Step 2
Drill a hole at least .25
" (6.35 mm) deep for
each of the four hinge pins
.
Step 3
Drill 12 holes for securing frame to inside of
the cabinet.
Step 4
Attach the door frame assembly into the
opening from the inside of the cabinet.
Step 5
Insert hinge pin in bottom of left side door
into hole at the bottom left door frame then
align door with left side door frame. Depress
spring pin located on top edge of door and
slide door toward left side door frame until
spring pin locks into hole in door frame.
Repeat for other door.
