• Afterfoodiscooked,turnoffheatsourceandremovefood.Allowliquidtocoolto115°F(45°C)orbelowbeforemoving
cookingvessel.
• Childrencanfallintocookingvesselanddrowninevenasmallamountofliquid.Keepcookingvesseloutofreachof
children.Donotstorecookingvesselwithliquidinside.
• Notforcommercialuse.Donotuseforotherthanitsintendedpurpose.
• Properlydisposeofallpackagingmaterial.

Determinetheamountofoilrequiredbyfollowinginstructionsabove.Ifcooking
withwaterorotherliquid,youcanusethesamemethoddescribedaboveusing
slightlymoreorless,dependingonyourcookingneeds.
WARNING: Fryerthermometershouldnotbeinsertedintofoodortouching
foodwhenmeasuringtemperatureofcookingoil.Endof
thermometershouldbeatleastoneinchbelowoillevel.
Step 2
Followallwarningsandinstructionsforstoveorcooker.Placepotwithliquidonfryer.Makesurethermometerisclippedto
sideofpotifcookingwithoil.Donotuselidwhenheatingorcookingwithoil.Bringliquidtothedesiredcookingtemperature
(325°F-350°F)(162°C-175°C)forfrying.Neverleaveheatingliquidunattended.Itcanignite.Carefullymonitortemperature
andneverallowoiltoexceed400°F(200°C)asitcanignite.

HOW TO DETERMINE PROPER AMOUNT OF OIL
1.Placethefoodproductintheholder.(strainerbasket)
2.Placethefoodproductandholderintotheemptyvessel.
3.Fillthevesselwithwaterjustuntilthefoodproductiscompletelysubmerged.
(Theremustbeaminimumof3inchesbetweenthewaterlevelandtopofthevessel.)
4.Removethefoodproductfromthevesselandeithermarkthelevelonthesideofthevesselormeasuretheamountof
waterinthevessel.
5.Removethewaterandcompletelydrythevesselandthefoodproduct.
6.Thisistheamountofcookingoilthevesselistobefilledwithtocookthefoodproduct.
