Problems with automatically playing files
Problems playing one or more files
If you’re trying to loop one or more files without a playlist, please check the following:
1 Make sure you don’t have any of the following autoplay files on the flash card:
AUTOPLAY.BSP, AUTOPLAY.CSV, or AUTOSCHEDULE.TXT.
2 Set your PC to show file extensions and make sure your images are JPG, BMP, or PNG files,
your videos are TS files, and your audio files are MP3 files. For the HD2000, videos must be
Program Streams (PS) and use an MPG or VOB file extension.

General playback problems
If you’re having general problems playing content with BrightSign, try the following:
1 Download the BrightSign demo and make sure it plays (see Step 3: Try the demo for details).
If you’re also having playlist problems, test the Playlist Demo.
2 Make sure your content meets the following specifications:
•
Audio:
MP3, 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz, or 32 kHz sample rate. The HD2000 also supports WAV with
16 bit linear PCM data.
•
Video:
Maximum resolution is 1920x1080. Formats vary by model:
•
HD2000
: Standard MPEG-2 program stream, with optional 48 kHz audio layer.
•
HD110, HD210, HD410, HD810, and HD1010:
MPEG-2 transport stream with 48 kHz,
44.1 kHz, or 32 kHz audio layer.
•
Image:
Bitmap, 8-bit, 24-bit, or 32-bit only or PNG/JPEG files. Maximum resolution is
1920x1080.
3 Reformat your SD card as FAT32.
4 Copy your content, and any scripts, playlists, or interactive playlists to the SD card again.
