BrightSign has no sample rate conversion. Certain USB speakers only support a sample
rate of 48 kHz. When using a USB speaker with this characteristic, BrightSign outputs all audio at
this rate regardless of the sample rate it was recorded at.

5.1 AC3 audio playback from SPDIF and HDMI outputs.
SPDIF audio output is sent in its
compressed state to the SPDIF receiver. You can also set an option within the autoplay script
to automatically mix the AC3 5.1 audio down to stereo PCM.
