[IMPORTANT: If shower arm is located above tile/fiberglass wall surface, you must add
distance from sheetrock to face of tile/fiberglass shower wall to the above
measurement.]
[NOTE: If the length of the 3" brass connector provided does not match the above
formula, please go to the hardware store to purchase a suitable brass connector.]
7) Apply PTFE Thread Sealant Tape (5) on the ends of the nipple (1).
8) Screw the nipple (1) and the water inlet fitting (2) by hand.
[IMPORTANT: The nipple end with a shorter thread is connected to the wall outlet and
the other end is connected to the inlet fitting (2).]

9) Use an adjustable wrench or a 3/8” (10mm) hexagonal wrench to tighten the fitting (1)
and the inlet fitting (2) to the built-in pipe outlet at the same time.
