Installation Instructions 1) Connect the Shower Rod (7) to the Diverter Body (12) clockwise. 7 12 2) Slide the Hand Shower Holder (8) into the Shower Rod (7). [NOTE: Rotate the button sleeve and then insert the shower rod.] 8 7 3) Insert the Shower Rod (7) into the Top Tee (4). Adjust the position, and then tighten the hexagon socket screw set (19) with the Hexagonal Wrench (6).
4) The Decorative Cover (3) is fitted into the Top Tee (4) and the Diverter Body (12). [HINT: Apply soapy water to the ORING position of the decorative cover to facilitate assembly] 3 4 3 12 5) Install the Rubber Washer (13) into the Swivel Joint (14) and tighten it with the lower end of the Diverter Body (12). [NOTE: Do not screw too tightly, adjust the position and then tighten.] 12 13 14 6) Determine the required length of the NPT Nipple (1): a. Place mark on existing shower arm at wall surface.
[IMPORTANT: If shower arm is located above tile/fiberglass wall surface, you must add distance from sheetrock to face of tile/fiberglass shower wall to the above measurement.] [NOTE: If the length of the 3" brass connector provided does not match the above formula, please go to the hardware store to purchase a suitable brass connector.] 7) Apply PTFE Thread Sealant Tape (5) on the ends of the nipple (1). 8) Screw the nipple (1) and the water inlet fitting (2) by hand.
10) Unscrew the hexagon socket screw set (19) on the Top Tee (4). [IMPORTANT: Removing the screw set before installation will help avoid damage to the O-Ring.] 4 19 11) Insert the inlet fitting (2) into the Top Tee (4) and adjust the Diverter Body (12) so the shower tube is vertical. [HINT: O-Ring on the inlet fitting (2) is coated with silicone oil, which is more conductive to installation.
12) Mark the mounting position to the lower mount (10) with a pencil. pencil 13) Drill 30mm (1 ¼”) deep hole with a diameter of 6mm (1/4”) hole in the center of the mark with the drill. Then insert the wall anchor (9) into the hole and use a Phillips screwdriver to apply the lower mount screw (11). Lock the lower mount (10). 14) Insert the Top Tee (4) and the Diverter Body (12) of the shower rod into the water inlet fitting (2) and the lower mount (10).
15) Insert the rubber washers (13) into the two ends of the hose (15). Connect the hexagonal nut end to the swivel joint (14), connect the tapered end of the shower hose to the hand shower (16).
