Equipment Description This battery warmer is designed to keep your battery warm throughout the cold winter months. Along with keeping your battery warm in cold climates, it can even help extend your battery’s life, reduce wear, and protect the engine from cold weather damage. Every effort has been made to make sure that the information in these instructions is both accurate and current.
Installation 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Set generator’s circuit breaker to OFF (open) position. Set generator’s system switch to OFF position. Remove 15 Amp fuse from the generator. Turn off utility power to the standby generator and transfer switch. Remove the fuses from the transfer switch. Put the battery warmer (A) in a location where the battery (B) will be installed. Remove the tie wrap that secures the wiring harness 2-pin connector.
