Exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poison gas you cannot see or smell. WHEN ADDING OR DRAINING FUEL • Turn generator OFF and let it cool at least 2 minutes before removing fuel cap. Loosen cap slowly to relieve pressure in tank. • Fill or drain fuel tank outdoors. • DO NOT overfill tank.

Unintentional sparking can result in fire or electric shock. • See “Don’t Overload Generator”. • Start generator and let engine stabilize before connecting electrical loads. • Connect electrical loads in OFF position, then turn ON for operation. • Turn electrical loads OFF and disconnect from generator before stopping generator.

6200W Portable Generator ASSEMBLY ELECTRIC START Your generator requires some assembly and is ready for use after it has been properly serviced with the recommended oil and fuel. If you have any problems with the assembly of your generator, please call the generator helpline at 1-800-743-4115. If calling for assistance, please have the model, revision, and serial number from the data tag available. Your unit is equipped with electric start capability but can be started manually.
6200W Portable Generator Install Wheel Kit 5. Install e-ring with pliers, squeezing from top of ering to bottom of axle. The wheel kit is designed to greatly improve the portability of your generator. NOTE: Wheel kit is not intended for over-the-road use. You will need the following tools to install these components: • 13mm socket wrench • 13mm open end wrench • 7/16" socket wrench • 7/16" open end wrench • Pliers • Safety glasses CAUTION E-rings can cause eye injury.
6200W Portable Generator BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE To protect the fuel system from gum formation, mix in a fuel stabilizer when adding fuel. See Storage. All fuel is not the same. If you experience starting or performance problems after using fuel, switch to a different fuel provider or change brands. This engine is certified to operate on gasoline. The emission control system for this engine is EM (Engine Modifications). Add Engine Oil • Place generator on a level surface.
6200W Portable Generator USING THE GENERATOR Generator Location Generator Clearance System Ground WARNING The generator has a system ground that connects the generator frame components to the ground terminals on the AC output receptacles. The system ground is connected to the AC neutral wire (see “Equipment Description”, earlier in this manual). Exhaust heat/gases can ignite combustibles, structures or damage fuel tank causing a fire. • Keep at least 5 ft.
6200W Portable Generator OPERATING THE GENERATOR WARNING Running engines produce heat. Temperature of muffler and nearby areas can reach or exceed 150°F (65°C). Severe burns can occur on contact. Exhaust heat/gases can ignite combustibles, structures or damage fuel tank causing a fire. Starting the Engine IMPORTANT: Always unplug the battery float charger before starting the generator. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator. Use the following start instructions: 1.
6200W Portable Generator Stopping the Engine 120 Volt AC, 20 Amp, Duplex Receptacle 1. Turn OFF and unplug all electrical loads from generator panel receptacles. NEVER start or stop engine with electrical devices plugged in and turned ON. 2. Let engine run at no-load for several minutes to stabilize internal temperatures of engine and generator. 3. Turn engine off according to instructions given in the engine operator’s manual. 4. Move fuel valve to “Off” position.
6200W Portable Generator DON'T OVERLOAD GENERATOR 4. Plug in and turn on the next load. 5. Again, permit the generator to stabilize. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional load. NEVER add more loads than the generator capacity. Take special care to consider surge loads in generator capacity, as described above. Capacity You must make sure your generator can supply enough rated (running) and surge (starting) watts for the items you will power at the same time. Follow these simple steps: 1.
6200W Portable Generator SPECIFICATIONS NOTE: DO NOT use a garden hose to clean generator. Water can enter engine fuel system and cause problems. In addition, if water enters generator through cooling air slots, some of the water will be retained in voids and cracks of the rotor and stator winding insulation. Water and dirt buildup on the generator internal windings will eventually decrease the insulation resistance of these windings. Starting Wattage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
6200W Portable Generator STORAGE Other Storage Tips Fuel will become stale when stored over 30 days. Stale fuel causes acids and gum deposits to form in the fuel system or on essential carburetor parts. Prior to storage, if gasoline has not been treated with a fuel stabilizer, it must be drained from the engine into an approved container. Then run engine until it stops from lack of fuel. The generator should be started at least once every seven days and allowed to run at least 30 minutes.

Generador Portátil de 6200W MONTAJE ARRANQUE ELÉCTRICO Su generador requiere de ciertos procedimientos de montaje y solo estará listo para ser utilizado después de haberle suministrado servicio con el combustible y aceite recomendados. El arranque del generador se puede realizar manualmente. Si decide no utilizar la función de arranque eléctrico de este generador, no será necesario instalar la batería.

Las anillas en “e” pueden salir disparadas durante el montaje o el desmontaje. NOTA: Este Juego de Ruedas no ha sido diseñado para ser usado en la carretera.

Si no puede hacer esto y debe almacenar la unidad por más de 30 días, siga las siguientes instrucciones para preparar su unidad para almacenamiento. El combustible estará pasado cuando transcurran 30 días desde su almacenamiento.
