information about where to install the software on your PC, please consult the information supplied
with your scoring program or by your Bridgemate supplier. To install Bridgemate Pro on a separate
client, we recommend the default folder (=C:\Program files\Bridgemate Pro).
Installing the server
Power supply
To operate the server, please ensure it is connected to the power adapter or is fitted with batteries.
The server cannot operate without a power adapter and batteries. If batteries are not installed in the
server and power is lost, any unsaved data in the server will be lost.
Read the safety instructions at the front of this manual before installing the server.
Power adapter
A 9~12V power adapter is supplied with the server. Plug the adapter into the wall socket and the plug
in the black connection at the top of the server. The green LED on the server will light up, indicating
that the server is now connected to the power adapter.
Batteries
Batteries are used if there is no power adapter connected, or as a back-up in the event of power
failure. The battery compartment on the bottom of the server holds four AA 1.5 volt batteries (not
included). Install the four batteries as indicated. A red LED will light up, indicating that the batteries
have been installed correctly and no power adapter is used. The approximate operation time of the
batteries is 50 hours.
