Leaving food residue, grease or fat in the cavity could cause the oven cavity to overheat and may cause the Breville Microwave Oven to smoke or catch fire. • Food and/or liquids should not be heated or cooked directly on the turntable tray.

Carefully unpack the Breville Microwave Oven and keep all the packing material until all the parts of the Breville Microwave Oven have been found and the appliance has been assembled.
Operating your Breville Microwave Oven continued Setting the clock When power is activated, the LED will display ‘0:00’. The input time should be within 0:0023:59. Example: To set 12:12. 1. Press the ‘CLOCK’ button, the hour figures will flash, and the indicator for clock will light. 2. Press the number buttons of ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘1’, ‘2’ in order. 3. Press ‘CLOCK’ to finish clock setting. The indicator for clock will go out, ‘:’ will flash, and the time will illuminate.

Operating your Breville Microwave Oven continued Inquiring function 1. In one stage cooking state, press ‘MICROWAVE’, and the current microwave power will be displayed for 3 seconds. After three seconds, the oven will turn back to the former state. 2. In cooking state, press ‘CLOCK’ to display the current time. Time will flash in the LED for 2-3 seconds, and the oven will return back to the cooking state. Multi-section cooking At most 2 sections can be selected for cooking.
Operating your Breville Microwave Oven continued HINTS & TIPS FOR MICROWAVE COOKING • Foods that are high in liquid, fat and sugar cook well in the Breville Microwave Oven. • Drier foods require shorter cooking time. • Always arrange food carefully. Place the thickest areas towards the outside of the dish. • Place smaller items, such as 1-cup drinks, towards the outer edge of the glass turntable tray. • Place larger items, such as chicken or cake, in the centre of the glass turntable tray.
Care and Cleaning CARE & CLEANING • Switch off the microwave oven at the power outlet and remove the plug from the power outlet before cleaning. • Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Avoid the use of spray and other harsh cleaners as they may stain, streak or dull the door surface. • The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
