CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main
fusebox before starting and during the installation.
Note: Portions of installation will require (2) people.
1) Passxturewirethroughlongthreadedpipe[1](with2hexnuts
onit).
2) Screwthepipeintothehexcoupling[2]allthewaydownuntil
thehexnuttouchesthecoupling.
3) Passthexturewirethroughthewideopeningofthetopcov-
er[3].Restthecoverontothetophousing[4].(Somethreads
shouldbeexposedfromthetop.Youcanadjustthehexnutsto
seatproperly).
4) Passthexturewirethroughthesmallcoupling[5].Screwthe
couplingontotheexposedthreadsfromthetopofthecover.
Tightentosecure.
5) Passxturewirethroughdesiredamountofstems[6]and
screwstemstogetherusingsuppliedshortthreadedtubes[7].
NOTE:Threadlockingcompoundmustbeappliedtoallstem
threadsasnotedwitharrowsymboltopreventaccidentalrota-
tionofxtureduringcleaning,relamping,etc.
6) Passxturewirethroughendofswivel[8]withoutthreaded
pipe.Threadthatendofswivelontoendoflaststem.
NOTE:Directionofswivelinaccordancewithceiling.
7) Passxturewirethroughholeincanopy[9].Passthreaded
pipeonendofswivelupthroughholeincanopy.
8) Passxturewirethroughlockwasher[10].Threadlockwasher
ontoendofthreadedpipeprotrudingfrominsidecanopy.
9) Passxturewirethroughhexnut[11].Threadhexnutontoend
ofthreadedpipe.
10) Findtheappropriatethreadedholesonmountingstrap[12].
Assemblemountingscrews[13]intothreadedholes.
11)Attachmountingstraptooutletbox[14].Mountingstrapcan
beadjustedtosuitpositionofxture.
12)Groundinginstructions:(SeeIllus.AorB).
A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwithahole
andtworaiseddimples.Wrapgroundwirefromoutletbox
aroundgreengroundscrew,andthreadintohole.
B) Onxtureswhereacuppedwasherisprovided.Attach
groundwirefromoutletboxundercuppedwasherand
greengroundscrew,andthreadintomountingstrap.
Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire.Connectxtureground
wiretooutletboxgroundwirewithwireconnector.(Notpro-
vided.)Afterfollowingtheabovesteps.Neverconnectground
wiretoblackorwhitepowersupplywires.
13)Makewireconnections(connectorsnotprovided.)Reference
chartbelowforcorrectconnectionsandwireaccordingly.
14)Pushxturetoceiling,carefullypassingmountingscrews
throughholesincanopy.NOTE:Becertainwiresdonotget
pinchedbetweencanopyandceiling.
15)Useknobs[15]andlockwashers[16]tosecurecanopy.Tighten
tosecure.
16) Insertrecommendedbulb.(Notsupplied)
