LuminairesmustbeinstalledinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode(NEC)andlocalcodes.Failuretodosowill

voidthewarrantyandmayresultinseriousinjuryand/ordamagetotheluminaire.

AlwaysuseULrecognizedwireconnectorsforconnections.

1.Topreventelectricalshock,disconnecttransformerfromelectrical

supplybeforeinstallationorservice.

2.Digaholeapproximately3”diameterby2”deepatselectedlocation.

3.Removemountingplatefrombottomofluminaire

4.Attachgroundstaketomountingplatewith2screwssupplied

5.Thread18/2directburialwirethroughcenterofgroundstakeandout

exitholeofstake.

6.Connect18/2pigtailtomainpowercablewithconnectorsupllied.

Turnonpowersupplytotestconnection.

7.Pushgroundstakeintogroundsothatmountingplateislevelwith

ground.

8.Attachfixturetomountingplatewithscrewsprovided

Installationrequiresconduitsleevetoallow36” pigtailtoexit

throughconcretefooting.

1.Topreventelectricalshock,disconnecttransformerfromelectrical

supplybeforeinstallationorservice.

2.Digaholeapproximately12” diameterby6”deepatselected

location.

3.Installfoundationanchorstomountingplate.Positionconduitsleeve

tobecenterholeinmountingplate.

4.Usingstandardmasonryprocedures,supportbollardbaseinselected

locationmakingmountingplateremainaboveconcretegrade.

5.Pourconcretemakingsureexitendofconduitsleevereachesoutside

concrete.

6.Runwirepigtailthroughbottomsleeveandattachtomainpowersupply

cable

Luminairesaresuppliedwith36” of18-2cablepigtailforsecure

connectiontomainsupplycable.Wireistobeprotectedbyroutingin

closeproximitytoluminaire.Wiringshouldbeburiedamax.depthof6”

inordertoconnecttomainsupplycable.

7.Attachluminairetomountingplateandsecurewithnutssupplied

8.Providepowertoluminaireandcheckforproperoperation.

pathwaylightisprovidedwithagroundstaketo

facilitateanin-gradeinstallation.However,forapermanentandsecure

installationaconcretefootingsupportforbollardpostisrecommended.
