TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR FAN.
TROUBLE PROBABLE CAUSE I SUGGESTED REMEDY
1.
Fan
will not start. 1. Loose electrical connections in the
ceiling cover.
2. Fan sounds noisy. 1 . Blades not attached
to
fan.
3.
Fan
wobbles
excessively.
2.
Wire connectors inside light kit assembly
are rattling.
3. Screws holding blades to motor are
loose.
1. Setscrews in motor coupler are loose.
2.
Setscrew
in
hanger ball/downrod
assembly is loose.
3. Screws securing fan blades
to
motor are loose.
4.
Hanger bracket and/or ceiling outlet
box is not securely fastened.
1. Check
the
electrical connections at the ceiling cover.
1. Attach blades
to
fan before operating.
2.
Check
to
make sure wire connectors in light kit assembly
are not rattling against each other
or
against the interior
wall
of
the light kit assembly.
3. Tighten screws securely.
1. Tighten both setscrews securely in the motor coupler.
2. Tighten the setscrew in
the
hanger ball/downrod
assembly.
3. Check to
be
sure screws which attach the fan blades
to
the motor are tight.
4.
Tighten the hanger bracket screws
to
the outlet box,
and/or secure outlet box.

dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician
for
help.

In order
to
maintain compliance with FCC regulations, shielded cables must be used with this equipment. Operation
with non-approved equipment
or
unshielded cables
is
likely
to

lt
in
interference to radio and TV reception. The
user
is
cautioned
that
changes and modifications made
to
the equipment without t
he
approval of manufacturer
could void
the
user's authority
to
operate this equipment.
