15. Light Kit LED Driver Replacement (Continued)
15.2
Remove the two knurled knobs and lockwashers from
the
threaded
studs
. Retain
the
hardware
for
future
reinstallation (Figure
41
).
Slide
the
ceiling cover downward to rest on
top the
motor housing.
15.3
Removal
of
the Ceiling Fan Wires, See Section 7,
Reverse Steps 7.4 through 7.1.
Disconnect
the
wire connector from
the
fan motor black
wire and supply black wire (Figure 42)
Disconnect
the
wire connector from
the
fan motor white
wire and
the
supply white wire (Figure
42)
.
Disconnect
the
wire connector from the
hanger
ball,
hanger bracket and supply green wires (Figure 42).
Retain all hardware
for
future reinstallation.
15.4
Carefully remove
the
ceiling fan (hangerball/downrod)
from the hanger bracket (Figure 43).
Place the ceiling fan, downrod faci
ng
up, onto a secure
solid surface
in
preparation
of
the
driver replacement.
NOTE
: Be
very
c
ar
e
ful
not
to
bend
the
blade
assemblies while removing the ceiling fan.
