Securely attach
the
hanger bracket
to
the
outlet box

supplied
with
the
outlet
box

4.3
Carefully lift the partially assembled ceiling fan and seat
the hanger
ba
ll
/downr
od
assembly into
th
e hanger bracket
that was just attached to the outlet box (Figure 16).
Be
sure the groove in the ball is engaged with the anti-
rotation tab on the hanger bracket (Figure 16).
NOTE
:
Be
very
careful
not
to
bend
the
blade
assemblies
while
hanging
the
partially
assembled
ceiling fan.

seat
the
anti-rotation
tab
into
the
hangerball
groove
could
cause
damage
to
electrical
wires
and
po

sibl
e
shock
or
fir
e hazard.
A
WARNING
To
avoid
possible
fire

shock

not
pinch
wires
between
the
hang
er
ball
/
downrod
assembly
and
hanger
bracket.
