Be sure to shut off water supply before beginning installation.
PRESS CONNECT INLET
Be sure to shut off water before starting.
For use with type K, L or M hard drawn copper only. Coiled copper is not recommended.
1. Cut copper tube square, round, clean and free of burrs on the OD and ID. If sharp edges are not removed, connection may leak. Make sure stub-out length
will accommodate depth of stop and ange.
2. Inspect the valve to ensure the o-ring is present, seated correctly and free of any debris. NOTE: Do not add lubricants to the o-ring. This could result in an
improper seal.
3. Mark tube 1-1/16 in. from end. Push valve onto tube as far as possible, at least to line marking on tube is reached. Note: If the valve does not reach the
mark, this will result in an improper connection.
3. Using a press tool with the proper press jaws, follow the tool manufacturer’s instructions. CAUTION: Make sure the jaws are clean and free of any debris or
build-up.
Tools Needed for Installation:
• Tube Cutter • Press Tool with VUS or XLC prole jaws

PRECAUCIÓN: LA SALIDA DEBE ESTAR TAPADA SI LA LLAVE SE USA COMO PUNTO DE TERMINACIÓN.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO REUTILIZAR. INSPECCIONAR ANUALMENTE. REEMPLAZAR SI SE DAÑA, SE DETECTA DETERIORO O CORROSIÓN. NO HACERLO PUEDE RESULTAR EN
FALLAS DEL PRODUCTO Y DAÑOS A LA PROPIEDAD.

INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES:
• Compruebe que el tubo saliente de conexión y el ascendente estén a escuadra, sean de sección circular y no tengan rebabas.
• Apretar demasiado puede ocasionar que el producto se raje y presente fallas con el tiempo. Consulte las instrucciones más detalladas que se encuentran a continuación:
ENTRADA DE CONEXIÓN A PRESIÓN
Asegúrese de cerrar el suministro de agua antes de comenzar.
Usar solamente con el tipo K, L o M de cobre duro. No se recomienda el cobre en espiral.
1. Corte el tubo de cobre de manera recta, redonda, prolija y sin asperezas en el OD y el ID. Si no se quitan los bordes alados, es probable que la conexión tenga fugas. Asegúrese
de que la longitud del extremo del conducto quede acorde a la profundidad de la llave y la brida.
2. Revise la válvula para asegurarse de que haya un anillo O, bien colocado y sin residuos. NOTA: No le agregue lubricantes al anillo O. Esto podría perjudicar el sellado.
3. Maque el tubo en 1-1/16 pulg. desde el extremo. Empuje la válvula dentro del tubo lo más que pueda, al menos hasta que alcance la marca de la línea en el tubo. Nota: Si la
válvula no llega hasta la marca, la conexión no se realizará de manera correcta.
3. Con una herramienta de prensa que tenga las mordazas adecuadas, siga las instrucciones del fabricante de la herramienta. PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de que las mordazas estén
limpias y libres de residuos y acumulaciones.
