Funktion und Einsatzgrenzen Beim HandyStep® S handelt es sich um einen Mehrfachdispenser zum schnellen und einfachen repetitiven Dosieren von Flüssigkeiten. Durch die Kombination der verwendeten PD-Tip-Größe und der am Hubeinstellrad eingestellten Hubeinstellung können Volumina zwischen 2 µl und 5 ml mit höchster Präzision und Richtigkeit dosiert werden.

PD-Tip einsetzen • Zum Einsatz der 25 ml und 50 ml PD-Tips wird der zu den Spitzen mitgelieferte wiederverwendbare Adapter benötigt. Dieser wird über einen Bajonettverschluss an die PD-Tips gekoppelt und kann nach der Verwendung wieder gelöst werden. • PD-Tips sind Einmalartikel! Füllhebel bis zum unteren Anschlag schieben. 2. Deutsch Volumen einstellen Die möglichen Dosiervolumina des HandyStep® S sind in Tabellen aufgeführt. Diese befinden sich unter dem Klarsichtclip auf der Geräterückseite. Die Hubeinstellung hat 9 halbzahlige Positionen von 1 bis 5. 1. Das gewünschte Dosiervolumen (Volume) in der Tabelle suchen. 2. Zum verwendeten PD-Tip (Tip size) die zum Volumen gehörige Hubzahl (Setting) mit dem Hubeinstellrad einstellen. 3.
PD-Tip füllen Flüssigkeit aufsaugen ➠ 1. Arretier-/Füllhebel bis zum unteren Anschlag schieben. 2. PD-Tip Spitze 3 - 10 mm tief senkrecht in die Flüssigkeit eintauchen. 1 3. Arretier-/Füllhebel bis zum oberen Anschlag langsam hochziehen, um das Entstehen von Luftblasen zu vermeiden.

PD-Tip abwerfen ➠ Handhabung 1. HandyStep® S über ein Gefäß halten. 2. PD-Tip durch Schieben des Arretier-/ Füllhebels bis zum unteren Anschlag entleeren. 3. Arretier-/Füllhebel nach vorne herausschwenken (der Kolben wird dadurch entkoppelt). 4. HandyStep® S über Abfallbehälter halten. Abwurftaste nach unten drücken (hiermit wird der Zylinder freigegeben). PD-Tip wird ausgeworfen. 2 Warnung! An der PD-Tip Spitze können Medienreste vorhanden sein.
Wir empfehlen, je nach Einsatz, alle 3-12 Monate eine gravimetrische Volumenprüfung des Gerätes durchzuführen. Dieser Zyklus sollte den individuellen Anforderungen angepasst werden. Wartung · Reinigung · UV Entkeimung HandyStep® S ist werkseitig kalibriert und wartungsfrei. Das Gerät darf nicht zerlegt werden! Bei äußerer Verschmutzung empfehlen wir, das Gerät mit einem Tuch und Wasser oder Isopropanol zu reinigen. UV-Entkeimung Das Gerät ist gegen die übliche Belastung einer UV-Entkeimungslampe beständig. Infolge der UV-Einwirkung ist eine Farbänderung möglich.

Function and Limitations of Use The HandyStep® S is a repetitive pipette for quick and simple repetitive dispensing of liquids. Volumes from 2 µl to 5 ml can be dispensed with the highest precision and accuracy through combinations of the PD-Tip size used and adjustment of the stroke setting on the stroke-setting wheel.

To change the table, simply push the clip up, turn the table around, and push the clip back down again.
Inserting the PD-Tip • Use of the 25 ml and 50 ml PD-Tips requires the reusable adapter supplied with the PD-Tips. The possible dispensing volumes of the HandyStep® S are listed in tables. These are found beneath the transparent clip on the backside of the instrument. Use the stroke setting wheel to set to the proper stroke number (Setting) for the volume that corresponds to the PD-Tip (Tip size). 3.
Filling the PD-Tip Aspirating Liquid ➠ 1. Push the locking/filling lever to the lower stop. 2. Immerse the orifice of the PD-Tip vertically into the liquid to a depth of 3 - 10 mm. 1 3. Raise the locking/filling lever slowly to the upper stop to avoid the formation of air bubbles. Note: 2 ➠ Any small air bubble near the piston can be ignored since a locking mechanism prevents the residual volume from being dispensed inadvertently after the final complete dispensing step.
English Repetitive Dispensing Dispensing Operation 1. Check the volume setting once again. (Compare with the settings in the volume table.) 2. Wipe off any liquid adhering to the 2 outside of the PD-Tip orifice with a lint-free tissue. 3. Place the orifice of the PD-Tip against the wall of the vessel. 4. Dispense the liquid by pressing down the dispensing lever completely, then let it slide all the way back up. 3 5. Take care to dispense smoothly and evenly.
Ejecting the PD-Tip ➠ Operation 1. Hold the HandyStep® S over a vessel. 2. Empty the PD-Tip by pushing the locking/filling lever to its lower stop. 3. Swing out the locking/filling lever (the piston will then be decoupled). 4. Hold the HandyStep® S over the waste container. Press the ejection key down, releasing the cylinder. The PD-Tip will be ejected. 2 Warning! Residues of the medium might be present on the PD-Tip orifice.
Depending on use, we recommend that gravimetric testing of the instrument be carried out every 3-12 months. This time frame should be adjusted to individual requirements. In cases of external contamination, we recommend cleaning the instrument using a wipe with water or isopropanol. UV sterilization The unit can withstand the usual output of a UV sterilization lamp. The effects of the UV may cause some color change. Important! Avoid liquid getting inside the instrument.

Ejection de la pointe DD tip ➠ Manipulation 1. Tenir le HandyStep® S au-dessus d’un récipient. 2. Vider la pointe DD tip en poussant le levier de blocage/remplissage jusqu’à la butée inférieure. 3. Tourner le levier de blocage/remplissage vers l'avant (le piston est alors découplé). 4. Tenir le HandyStep® S au-dessus d'une poubelle. Pousser la touche d'éjection vers le bas (cela dégage le cylindre). La pointe DD tip est éjectée.

Función y limitaciones de empleo El HandyStep® S es un dispensador manual para fácil dosificación repetitiva de muestras de manera rápida y sencilla. Mediante la combinación del tamaño de la punta PD utilizada y el ajuste de la carrera en la rueda de ajuste, es posible dosificar volúmenes entre 2 µl y 5 ml con máxima precisión y exactitud.

Colocación de la punta PD • Para utilizar las puntas PD de 25 y 50 ml se requiere el adaptador reutilizable suministrado junto con las puntas. Llenado de la punta PD Aspiración de muestra ➠ 1. Desplazar la palanca de bloqueo/ llenado hasta el tope inferior. 2. Introducir el orificio de la punta PD 3 a 10 mm verticalmente dentro del líquido. 1 3. Para evitar la formación de burbujas de aire, levantar la palanca de bloqueo/llenado lentamente hasta el tope superior.

Expulsar de la punta PD ➠ Manejo 1. Mantener el HandyStep® S sobre un recipiente. 2. Vaciar la punta PD desplazando la palanca de bloqueo/llenado hasta el tope inferior. 3. Girar la palanca de bloqueo/llenado hacia adelante (esto producirá el desacople del émbolo). 4. Mantener el HandyStep® S por encima de un recipiente de residuos. Presionar la tecla de expulsión hacia abajo (esto liberará el cilindro). La punta PD será entonces expulsada.
Dependiendo de la aplicación, recomendamos realizar un control gravimétrico de volumen del aparato cada 3 a 12 meses. La periodicidad debe adaptarse a los requisitos individuales. Mantenimiento · Limpieza · Esterilización con UV El HandyStep® S ha sido calibrado en fábrica y no requiere mantenimiento. No intentar nunca desmontar el aparato! Para la suciedad exterior, recomendamos limpiar el aparato con un paño y agua o isopropanol. Esterilización con UV El aparato es resistente contra el proceso habitual de esterilización con lámpara UV. Debido a la acción de la radiación UV, puede producirse un cambio de color. Importante: Evitar el ingreso de líquido en el interior del aparato.

¿Qué hacer en caso de avería? Avería ¿Qué hacer? No se puede bloquear el émbolo de la punta PD después de haber colocado la punta PD. La palanca de bloqueo/ llenado no está totalmente deslizada hacia abajo ni tampoco girada hacia adelante. En primer lugar accionar la tecla de expulsión y retirar la punta PD, después empujar la palanca de bloqueo/llenado completamente hacia abajo y girarla del todo hacia adelante. Funzioni e limiti all'uso HandyStep® S è una pipetta automatica a dosaggio ripetitivo per eseguire in modo veloce e facile il dosaggio ripetitivo di liquidi. Grazie alla combinazione della misura del PD-Tip usato e alla regolazione della corsa mediante l’apposita rotella, si possono dosare volumi da 2 µl a 5 ml con grande precisione e accuratezza.

Inserimento del PD-Tip • Per l'uso dei PD-Tip da 25 ml e da 50 ml, usare l'adattatore riutilizzabile fornito con PD-Tips. Riempimento del PD-Tip Aspirazione del liquido ➠ 1. Spingere la levetta di arresto/riempimento fino al fermo inferiore. 2. Immergere la puntale del PD-Tip in verticale nel liquido per 3-10 mm. 1 3. Tirare lentamente, per impedire la formazione di bolle, verso l’alto la levetta di arresto/riempimento fino al fermo superiore.

Espulsione del PD-Tip ➠ Uso 1. Tenere l'HandyStep® S sopra un contenitore. 2. Svuotare il PD-Tip spingendo la levetta di arresto/riempimento fino al fermo inferiore. 3. Far ruotare la levetta di arresto/riempimento in avanti (in questo modo si sgancia il pistone). 4. Tenere HandyStep® S sopra un contenitore per i rifiuti. Premere verso il basso il tasto di espulsione (così facendo si sblocca il cilindro). Il PD-Tip viene espulso.
Si consiglia, in base al tipo di impiego, una verifica gravimetrica del volume dello strumento ogni 3-12 mesi. L’intervallo va calcolato in funzione della frequenza di utilizzo. In caso di imbrattamento esterno consigliamo di pulire lo strumento con un panno e acqua o isopropanolo.
