Lenovo’s new 3-year battery warranties are available in conjunction with a purchased extension or base 3-year system warranty on several ThinkPad® and ThinkPad Edge notebooks with sealed battery technology.
A practical solution for ThinkPad X1 and ThinkPad Edge 420s owners:
 A single battery replacement by a trained technician, beyond the 1 year base battery warranty, across the term purchased
 Like for like replacement of the current size battery
 No defect or failure required
 Each bundled service package is available with Customer Carry-in Repair option or On-site Service call (next business day response time)
 ThinkPad Protection and Hard Disk Drive Retention can be purchased within the bundle
