EXTRA LONG RANGE CCD SCANNER
A CCD scanner has the advantage that there are no moving parts inside. This means the scanner is better pro-
tected against a rough handling. The CCD scanner therefore has a 2 year warranty. The name 'extra long range'
scanner means you can scan the barcode from a large distance. With this model BS 3035, the maximum range is
27 cm. With a scan width of 100mm a very fl exible scanner.
Flexible
Because all fi rmware of this scanner is fully prepared to every kind of interface, you can connect the scanner
through your keyboard interface, serial port or USB port. The only thing you need is the correct connection ca-
ble. The cables are exchangeable due to the snap-in 'Champtek' cable system. The 'Champtek' scanners include
an USB or PS/2 keyboard interface cable.

HANDHELD LASER SCANNER
These two Champtek laser scanners are mostly comparable. The big difference is the internal use technology.
The BS 3110 works with Metrologic technology, the BS 3120 works with Symbol technology. The Symbol ver-
sion has a little higher price, but delivers more quality. Because the fi rmware is fully prepared for every kind of
interface, you can decide for yourself if you connect the scanner to your keyboard interface, serial port or USB
port. The only thing you need is the correct connection cable. The cables are fully exchangeable because of the
unique Champtek cable system. Champtek scanners are standard delivered including a PS/2 keyboard interface
cable.
The scanner is fully programmable. Besides easy adjustment of an audio confi rmation signal for a correct scan,
you can also adjust all defi nitions, like yes/no signal after reading. The programming can be done with the inclu-
ded key set in the manual or by a software download.
