EPOWERSWITCH STAND ALONE
The ePowerSwitch 1G R2 is a power distribution and control unit that enables remote power management of
one device over Intranet, the Internet or locally through an RS-232 serial connection. Its serial interface can
be used to control the power outlet over a Terminal connection (KVM Switch, console server...) or to trigger a
soft shutdown of a server with shutdown capabilities. An internal Real Time Clock enables to trigger scheduled
actions and timestamp all events.
• The power outlet can be controlled through an Ethernet or RS232 terminal connection.
• Wake on LAN and serial shutdown functions
• Programmable restart delay (5-60 seconds) can be set for the power outlet.
• Acces to ePowerSwitch is protected by name and password. The administrator can create up to 40
concurrent user accounts with restricted rights.
• Full confi guration can be performed through the web, the network confi guration can be done through a
windows tool over LAN or RS232 connection.
• The ePowerSwitch includes a real time clock and can automatically carry out rules to trigger scheduled tasks.

ePowerSwitch 4 IEC is a Power Distribution and Control Unit which enables Remote Power Management of 4
IEC Power Outlets either over Internet or locally through a Console Server or a KVM Switch with RS232 Control
Option.
This unit has been designated for applications where all connectors and especially the Power sockets must be
easily accessible, for instance on a cabinet or a rack front side.

Power management with ePowerSwitch
Neol offers a wide range of professional power

control units can be found in the ePowerSwitch
series of Neol. In combination with the Vi-
zioGuard environment monitoring systems,
ePowerSwitch can also automatically perform
predefi ned actions when an emergency is de-
tected. VizioGuard is not standardly included in
our range, but we can provide it on request.
