Adjusting the Sensors 2 Main Cylinder (PAM 3602 only)
There are two sensors 2 main cylinder to check if the pad reaches the intermediate position correctly. At the
intermediate position the turn cylinder carries out the swing movement of the pad. It is very important that the pad
swings without damage. For that reason the area for the swing movement has to be free.
The upper sensor recognizes this position during the movement downward and the lower sensor during the
movement upward.
If the sensors are adjusted correct the integrated LED of the corresponding sensor is switched on and off during the
cylinder movement.
The sensors have to adjust corresponding to the special requirements.

Switch off the compressed air.
Slide the manual valve on the applicator to the bleed-position.
Move the cylinder manually downward.
Check on which position it is possible to swing the pad without collision with the putting up area or any other
components.
Adjust the upper sensor (2) by loosen the screw (1) and sliding the holder (3) into the required position so, that
the sensor could recognize this position. Tighten the screw (1).
Move the cylinder up and down and check if the LED integrated in the sensor (2) is switched on and off.
Move the cylinder manually upward.
Check on which position it is possible to swing the pad without collision with the putting up area or any other
components.
Adjust the lower sensor (5) by loosen the screw (4) and sliding the holder (6) into the required position so, that
it could recognize this position.
Move the cylinder up and down and check if the LED integrated in the sensor (5) is switched on and off.
Slide the manual valve on the applicator to the operate position.
Switch on the compressed air.
Release a labeling process by alternately pressing the "feed" key and the pre-dispense key on the printer.
Check the movement of the main and the turn cylinder and if the integrated LEDs are switched on and off.
Readjust the respective sensor if necessary.
The upper sensor (2) checks the Stop during the movement downward,
The lower sensor (5) checks the Stop during the movement upward.
