5.10 Pneumatic Setting of the Printhead Pressure

If there are problems with the print quality the pressure of the printhead can be measured and adjusted to the

recommended value.

Switch off the printer, switch off the compressed air.

Remove the cover.

Pull the tube (2) out of the pressure regulator of the printhead valve and push it into the push-in T-tting (5) of

the manometer (6).

Push the tube (4) of the manometer (6) into the regulator of the printhead valve.

Switch on the printer, switch on the compressed air.

Release a printhead movement by pressing the integrated key (3) on the valve.

During pressing the key it is possible to measure the value of the compressed air on the printhead cylinder.

The recommended value is 6 bar.

If necessary set the compressed air value to the recommended value by turning the screw (1) on the pressure

regulator of the printhead valve.

To reach the value of 6 bar, the valve must be opened completely by turning the screw clockwise.

9. Switch off the printer, switch off the compressed air.

10. Restore the normal tube connection.

11. Mount the cover.
