Adjusting the Torques
If the measured values differ from the set values proceed the adjustment as follows.
WARNING!
Mortal danger by electric shock!
Disconnect power supply!
Switch off compressed air!

1 Knurled nut of the clutch ribbon take up hub

Remove the cover.
To adjust the torque at the internal rewinder, remove the CPU PCB (see section 4.9).
Ribbon supply hub and internal rewinder:
Adjust the winding torque by pressing in the knurled nut (5) of the corresponding clutch (3, 4) and turning it.
Note the numbers on the nut:
Turning to a higher number increases the torque,
turning to a lower number decreases the torque.
Ribbon take up hub:
Adjust the winding torque by turning the knurled nut (1) of the clutch (2).
Turning it counterclockwise increases the torque,
turning it clockwise decreases the torque.
NOTICE!
If there are numbers on the knurled nut, they are no setting values but for orientation only.
4. Repeat the measuring.
5. Remount the CPU PCB if necessary and mount the cover.
6. Connect the printer to the power supply, switch on printer, switch on compressed air.
