5.5 Adjusting the Sensors of the Printhead
After replacing a sensor it is necessary to align the concerning sensor of the printhead.
By watching the concerning LEDs on the applicator control PCB the correct adjustment of the printhead can be
checked. If one of the LEDs is not shining during the printhead movement the sensor has to be adjusted.

Remove the cover.
Release a movement of the printhead by pressing the integrated key (1) on the concerning valve.
Check the LEDs (2, 3).

4. Loosen the screw on the concerning sensor (4, 5) by using a 1 mm screwdriver.
The left senor (4) recognizes the upper position of the printhead.
The right sensor (5) recognizes the lower position of the printhead.
5. Shift the respective sensor (4, 5).
NOTICE!
The ribbon consumption is dependent on the right sensor for the lower position (5).
To save ribbon, adjust this sensor in the lowest possible position.
6. Release a movement of the printhead by pressing the integrated key (1) on the concerning valve.
7. Check the LEDs (2, 3).
8. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
9. Tighten the screw on the sensor if the printhead is adjusted correct.
10. Mount the cover.
