Introduction

Connecting to a Computer or Device

Labels can be created directly on the printer, in Brady Workstation or a 3rd party software on a

computer, or by using the Brady Express Labels app on a mobile device. Additionally, data and

graphics can be transferred between printers.

•

Computer:

Connect the printer to the computer using the USB cable or through Wi-Fi.

•

Mobile:

Send labels to the printer using Wi-Fi.

•

Printer:

Transfer data files and graphics between printers using a USB drive.

Connect with a USB Cable

1. Connect the cable to the printer and computer.

2. Turn on the BMP

61 and follow the instructions in the label program to transfer the labels.

Connect with Wi-Fi Wireless Network

Wi-Fi capability is a factory installed option and is not an upgradeable

feature. To determine if the printer purchased by your site has Wi-Fi

capability look for the symbol under the top cover.

Note: Wi-Fi units are always enabled and the Wi-Fi cannot be

turned off.

Connect USB cable from this port to

the printer.
