Printer Driver Installation
BMP71 accepts data from a number of Windows based PC programs. In order to send data
from these programs to the BMP71 printer, you must install the BMP71 printer driver.
The enclosed product CD contains the printer driver. To install the printer driver, on your PC:
1. Insert the product CD into the CD drive on your PC.
2. On the first screen of the CD, click the button containing the language in which you want
to view the CD contents.
3. On the next screen, click the Printer Driver button.

4. Attach the small end of the USB cable to the printer, then
the flat end of the cable to the PC.
5. Turn the printer on.
On the PC, “Found New Hardware” pops up in the lower
right corner of the screen and the printer driver wizard is
launched.
6. In the Wizard, click “Install the software automatically”
(if it is not already selected).
7. Click Next.
The printer driver installs. This takes a minute or two.
8. When complete, in the Wizard, click Finish.
The BMP71 printer is now available to receive information from your computer labeling
program.
When printing from the PC, the BMP71 printer must be attached to the PC via the USB cable.
Be sure to select the BMP71 printer in the print dialog box of the PC labeling program you are
using.
