Specimen Pass-Thru
Cabinet
IMPORTANT: If installed unit projects above top of wainscot, install aluminum
channel or other fi ller in gap between fi nished wall and front panel of unit. Allow
clearance for construction features that may protrude into rough wall opening.
Always check local codes and ordinances prior to installation.
1. Rough-in the wall opening per dimensions shown.
2. Slide one front panel onto the cabinet so that the screw holes in the
mounting tabs are aligned with the slot on the cabinet body.
3. Center the cabinet in the wall opening with right side up (arrow on “This
Side Up” label points upward.
4. Slide the second front panel into place so that the holes in the mounting
tabs are aligned with the slot on the cabinet body.
5. Open the door. Insert the four #10 x 1½" screws supplied through the slots
of the body and front panel tabs at the mounting hole locations.
6. Take care to ensure the entire perimeter of both front panels are positioned
tight against the wall surface, then tighten the four screws to secure the unit
in the wall.
7. Remove the protective vinyl and “This Side Up” labels from the doors and
front panels.
