METHOD OF USE
Correct cleaning of the unit will lengthen its working life considerably.
When in use, the machine will accumulate dust inside which should be cleaned out every six months.

Sensored models
1. Turn off power to the unit.
2. Remove cover using security wrench (See Dismantling for Installation).
3. Clean away any accumulated dust on the fan with a soft bristle brush while rotating it manually. Use
the same brush, to clean away all accumulated dust from the other components. Carefully remove
any dust from the electronic circuit board and hand detecting sensors using a fine brush.
4. Use brush to clean the air inlet grill and make sure the LED visor is completely clean.
5. Check the condition of the motor brushes. These should be replaced when they are less than 13/64
inches (5 mm.).
6. Reconnect power to the unit and let it run continuously, removing any excess dust.
7. Turn off power to the unit and install cover per the Mounting Instructions.
Caution: Do not damage or force any components.
Cleaning the cover - Use only a wet cloth to clean the covers. Do not use any kind of detergent, acids,
lye, abrasives, hydrocloric acid, etc.
These models operate by hand detection. Place hands 2-8 inches (5 - 20 cm) from the air outlet and the dryer
will start working. Once activated, immediately place hands in air flow and rub together until dry. This machine
will stop 2-3 seconds after use. The unit will completely shut off after 60 seconds of continuous use.
Note: Vandal Resistant Operating System will cause this unit to automatically shut-off if sensor is completely
blocked.
