Once interviews are completed, the hiring manager will contact references for qualified
applicants.
An offer will then be extended to the successful candidate by the hiring manager; once an
offer is accepted, all interviewed candidates will be informed of the hiring decision.
Our Notice Period
If you decide that it’s time for you to move on from Bradley Smoker, we ask that you provide
us with at least two weeks of notice. Notice should be in writing, addressed to your manager
and should include the following information: your name, your position, the date notice is
given and your last working day.
The purpose of having a notice period is to pass over your workload to others with as smooth
of a transition as possible. For that reason, if you’ve given notice, we expect that you not take
time off during the notice period.
Exit Interviews
Employees who decide to move on from Bradley Smoker may be asked to participate in a
voluntary Exit Interview. Our goal is to make improvements where we can and it’s helpful for us
as a company that we understand why you’re leaving.
Bradley Smoker Belongings
On your last day of employment, all Bradley Smoker belongings must be returned. This
includes such things as this employee handbook, office/warehouse keys, documents (paper
or electronic), cell phone and/or any other items deemed to be Bradley Smoker property.
References
If you’d like to use your manager as a reference for future potential employers, please notify
them in advance. If contacted, they’ll confirm your dates of employment and position and
responsibilities at Bradley Smoker. If you’d like your manager to provide a more detailed
reference including information about how well you performed your job, you must submit a
written request to provide this type of additional information. It is important to note that
providing permission for this type of reference means that your manager may also provide
information regarding challenges you faced in your role.
While at work, if you receive a call to provide a professional reference for a former employee,
refer the request to your manager.
