Currently, we maintain a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and a company LinkedIn page and
we encourage you to follow these if you’re interested. Whether or not you are an official Bradley
Smoker social media poster, you are viewed by the company, the social media community and
the public, as a representative of Bradley Smoker. As a result, we expect you to ensure that
information related to Bradley Smoker and/or branding is communicated to a high standard of
professionalism, whether it’s during business hours or on personal time.
Misuse
We expect you to be reasonable and to use discretion when using the internet, email,
messenger, electronic/social media and all business communication systems for both
professional and personal use. If you knowingly misuse these systems, you may be subject to
disciplinary action up to and including termination. Please also refer to our Respectful
Workplace as well as Employee Personal Information policies for further information.
Communications with Media
Whether it is social online media, print or face-to-face, our goal is to communicate our message
in a consistent and effective manner. In order to do this, a manager must review, address
and/or assign a designate to all communications. No other employees may respond to media
requests directly or indirectly including off-the-record or anonymous comments. Please
remember that what may seem like an insignificant comment may turn into a large issue for
Bradley Smoker.
Confidential Information
During the course of your employment with Bradley Smoker, confidential information about our
company, our products and our customers will be disclosed to you. As unauthorized disclosure
of this information for use other than for Bradley Smoker’s purposes could cause irreparable
harm to Bradley Smoker, you must not disclose any confidential information to anyone outside
of the company. Confidential Information of Bradley Smoker includes any and all confidential
or private information not generally known to the public including, any and all concepts,
technology, technical knowledge, know-how, systems, procedures, programs, customer
database, products, equipment, material, improvements, plans, skills, services, methods of
doing business, business plans, financial, legal, corporate, client, supplier, personnel, research,
or technical information, and/or other non-public information in whatever form or media.
Confidential Information does not include information that is in the public domain, or
information that falls into the public domain, unless that information falls into the public
domain by disclosure or other acts by you, or through your fault.
During your employment with Bradley Smoker or at any time afterwards, unless prior express
written consent is given by us, you may not utilize on your own behalf or on behalf of any other
person/firm or disclose to any other person/firm, except as required by the terms and nature of
your employment with Bradley Smoker any Confidential Information. You must also use your
best efforts to prevent the unauthorized disclosure or publication of such information. In
addition, you agree that you will not reproduce, copy, duplicate, manufacture, or sell any
