Our Respectful Workplace
It’s important that all employees maintain a high standard of respect and professionalism in all
contacts with co-workers, customers, and everyone you interact with while at work. This means
not only understanding and following our policies and practices regarding respect but also
conducting ourselves in a professional manner. We expect everyone to participate and
contribute to an overall respectful workplace and to act appropriately as necessary. Respect is
an integral part of our culture and behaviors that don’t align with this, such as discrimination,
general harassment and/or bullying and harassment, are not acceptable.
How We Define & Build a Respectful Workplace Together
It’s important to us that all employees feel good about being here; and we know that your work
environment, your co-workers, our customers and everyone else you interact with while at work
impact that. Appreciating that we are all, as part of the Bradley Smoker team, a complex web of
relationships (all contributing to shaping, changing and impacting our company), it’s important
that we outline what a respectful workplace means at Bradley Smoker.
We practice the golden rule
We expect you to treat each other the way you would want to be treated in the same or similar
situation. This includes thinking about how others may react before speaking or acting,
avoiding talking negatively about others and avoiding comments or jokes that demean, insult or
target others.
Whenever possible, we “pick up the phone”
Although technology can be efficient and helpful, there are times when simply picking up the
