After working 40 hours in a week, you will be paid time-and-a-half.
All locations
Employees in management positions at all locations are not eligible for compensation on
account of overtime. Your salaries and benefits package are intended to compensate you fully
for both regular hours and occasional extra hours as required from time to time.
Banked Time
Banked overtime must be used within the fiscal year that it’s earned. Any untaken banked
overtime will be paid out as of the end of April if not used.
Give & Take Philosophy
At Bradley Smoker, we believe that we produce our best work when everyone is in the office
working as a team. We also understand that there are times when you need to attend to
personal matters. In doing so, we ask that you consider our business priorities when scheduling
appointments and whenever possible, book appointments outside of regular work hours. If you
need to take time off for an appointment (medical, dental, children’s events etc.) please
coordinate with your manager.
As a general rule, we feel that the time you take balances out with the time you give; however,
if we or you notice an imbalance, we’ll discuss options to even it out such as using vacation
time, making up the hours on a later mutually agreed upon date, or on the flip-side, taking the
afternoon off.
If you are going to be late or away, let your manager and the Payroll & Benefits Administrator
know.
Remote Access
One of the great things about Bradley Smoker is the team-oriented community we have. We
believe we do our best work when we’re together in the office. While we fully expect you to
come into the office each day, we understand that under certain circumstances, you may need
to work from home. If you need to work from home, make your request at least two days in
advance to your manager so the team can plan accordingly the scheduling of meetings and
work delivery. Your request should outline the reason why you need to work from home and
detail the work you are planning to tackle remotely.
