3:00pm to 11:00pm with a half-hour paid lunch break (in recognition of the evening
shift), in addition to two paid 15 minute breaks
 Security
11:00pm to 7:00am with a half-hour paid lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks
 Mud Bay Store
9:30am to 5:30pm, with a half-hour paid lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks;
the store is open Monday through Saturday.
Galesburg work hours
Although the business hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm in Galesburg, some employees start at
7:00am or 7:30am. Both office and warehouse employees may also have a short (5 to 10
minutes) break in the morning and afternoon.
Flexible hours
Although varying hours of work are generally confirmed during the hiring process, if your
position allows for it, you may be able to alter your start and end times, upon approval by your
manager. As business needs require, we may ask you to alter your regularly scheduled work
hours from time to time.
Timesheets for Hourly Employees
The hours you are paid are calculated based on your completed time sheets. For this reason,
it’s important that you submit your completed time sheets to your manager by noon on the
submission date. You may find the list of submission dates for the current calendar year on the
J drive under Office Stuff and/or on the bulletin Board. For copies of blank time sheets, see
your manager.
Overtime
While we generally want to minimize overtime work and don’t anticipate requesting it on a
regular basis, there may be times when we ask you to do so.
To be compensated, overtime must be pre-approved by your manager, and will be
compensated as follows:
Delta
 After working 8 hours in a day, you will be paid time-and-a-half for the next 4 hours
worked, and double time for all hours in excess of 12 in a day.
 Even if you don’t work more than 8 hours in a day, if you work more than 40 hours in a
week, you will be paid time-and-a-half (e.g. if you work on a weekend and have already
put in a 40 hour week).
