Improper aquastat

Turn tank aquastat to
appropriate setting

Zone valve does
not open (if used)
Replace as necessary
Check fuse and replace
Check circuit breaker and
reset (if applicable)
Electrical problem
(relay, wiring,
etc.)
Check power supply
Scale build-up If boiler, circulator, and
tank are operating
satisfactorily, coil may
have scale coating. See

water filter or
