* All (1) year tank warranted units only have a one year
parts warranty.
** Any water heater used for other than a single family
housing unit will be covered for only one year on tank and
parts regardless of any other warranty period specified. All
replacement water heaters and parts carry the balance of
the original warranty, i.e. if an original ten (10) year tank
warranted water heater develops a leak due to defects in
materials/workmanship after only nine (9) years, the
replacement unit is warranted for only the balance
remaining from the original ten (10) year warranty, or one
(1) year in this example.
