CONNECT STEAM BOILER SUPPLY PIPING
Figure 4 represents a typical steam boiler connection diagram. Refer to
the boiler installation manual or contact the boiler manufacturer for an
appropriate piping diagram. The use of a union, shut-off valves, and a
drain valve is recommended for future service convenience. The use of
an in-line “Y”-style strainer is required to prevent accumulation of sludge
in the water heater’s coil.
