When CIP cleaning is not appropriate, then it may be necessary to disassemble the Plate and
Frame heat exchanger to access the plates directly for cleaning.
IMPORTANT! The distance between the inside faces of the Follower frame plate and the
Head frame plate (“A” in Figure 4-1) is listed in the service contract. If unavailable, then carefully
measure and record it before disassembly, as this dimension is critical for proper reassembly.
