Sine Wave Inverter or DC Converter Usage


 ResMed Model Machines & Other 24V Devices
If you are using any machine manufactured by ResMed or any other
24V device you must use either a sine wave inverter or DC converter
to complete the connection between the machine and the Battery Pack
as our Battery Pack provides 12V DC current.
ResMed offers DC converters specifically designed for use with their
machines. A sine wave inverter may also be used; however, please
check the manual for your specific model as there may be disclaimers
regarding the use of modified versus pure sine wave inverters.
DO NOT connect the Battery Pack directly to any ResMed model
machine or any other 24V device.


 Devices Without a DC Input Port
If you are using a dated CPAP or BiLevel machine without a DC input
port you must use either a sine wave inverter or DC converter to
complete the connection between the CPAP or BiLevel machine
and the Battery Pack.


 Charging the Battery Pack in a Vehicle
The use of a sine wave inverter or DC converter in conjunction with
the Battery Pack allows you to safely and efficiently recharge your
Battery Pack via the cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle.


 Powering Other Devices
Use of a sine wave inverter in conjunction
with the Battery Pack allows you to
power other devices such as
cell phones, iPads, portable
DVD players, and laptops,
which operate from a
12V DC current.
