Workout Prole Display
TheWorkoutProleDisplayareashowsthecourseproleoftheprogramiseitherBurnRateorResistanceLevel.Eachcolumnintheproleshows
one interval (workout segment). The higher the column, the higher the intensity of the workout.
DuringaStandardprogram,theproleshowsthelevelofresistance(Level).TheConsolewilladjusttheResistanceLevelduringtheworkout.
DuringaSMARTprogram,theproleshowsthelevelofBurnRate.TheConsolewilladjusttheresistanceleveltoencourageaUserreachthe
Targeted Burn Rate (based on the pedal speed).
Theashingcolumnshowsthecurrentinterval.
RPM
TheRPMdisplayeldshowsthemachinerevolutionsperminute(pedalspeed).Themaximumdisplayis200.
Heart Rate
The Heart Rate display shows the heart rate in beats per minute (BPM) from the heart rate sensors. This value will not be shown if a heart rate signal
is not detected.
Consultaphysicianbeforeyoustartanexerciseprogram.Stopexercisingifyoufeelpainortightnessinyourchest,becomeshortofbreath,
or feel faint. Contact your doctor before you use the machine again. Theheartratedisplayedontheconsoleisanapproximationandshould
be used for reference only.
Burn Rate
TheBurnRatedisplayeldshowsthecurrentrateatwhichcaloriesarebeingburnedperminute.TheRPMandResistanceLeveldirectlychange
thisrate.TheUserProlesettingsalsoaffecttherate(Userweight).
Level
TheLeveldisplayeldshowsthecurrentResistanceLevel(1-16).ThehighertheResistanceLevel,theharderitwillbetopushthePedals.
During a Smart workout, the Console will adjust the resistance level to encourage a User to reach the Targeted Burn Rate (based on the pedal
speed).
Keypad Functions
PROGRAMS button- Push to select a workout program, push and hold for 3 seconds to customize the selected workout.
MAXINTERVALbutton-PushtostarttheMAXINTERVALworkout,pushandholdfor3secondstoedittheintervaltimes(ACTIVEandREST)and
Burn Rates for the MAX workout program.
USERbutton-PushtoselectthedesiredUserProle,pushandholdfor3secondstoedittheselectedUserProle
Burn Rate Increase () button- Increases the Target Burn Rate during a workout, or increases a value (time, age, weight, or height).
START/ENTER button- From the WELCOME screen starts a Manual workout, starts a selected Program workout, or resumes a paused workout.
Push to accept the displayed value for an option.
