Front Suspensions
•Proven Twin I-Beam with coil springs front suspension
design is used on all F-250/F-350 4x2 Super Duty
®
pickups
Twin I-Beam design combines the strength of a solid
I-Beam suspension with the flexibility and comfort of
a fully independent suspension
Coil springs provide a smoother ride than leaf springs
without sacrificing load-carrying capacity
Front bushings stiffer than previously
Front stabilizer bars redesigned with new links for improved
ride and handling
Front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) increased to
5250 lbs.
•Robust twin-coil monobeam front axle/suspension design is
used on all F-250/F-350 4x4 pickup models
Twin-coil monobeam front suspension combined with the
steering system design provides tight turning diameters and
reduced parking effort. Loaded or unloaded cornering and
maneuverability are more precise
Gives a smoother ride than a leaf-spring design
