Beyond the Basics

Backlight Bright Intensity of the display lighting.

Choose a lower % setting to reduce intensity.

Backlight Delay Default: On.

Option to turn the backlight delay off.

LCD Delay Default: 30 seconds.

Increase or decrease the pause before the LCD turns off in

10-second increments.

Audio Stream Default: Audio 2.

One of two streams that can deliver audio to the room where the

PERSONAL

music center is used.

For further information about audio streams, refer to “Audio

streams multiply your options” on page 24.

Room Code Default: Room B.

Select one of the 15 available room codes, A through O.

Choosing A will match the setting for the LIFESTYLE

remote in

the main room.

Choosing O allows the PERSONAL

music center to work with

older products, such as Bose

Acoustimass

5 powered speak-

ers, a Wave

radio, or other amplifiers, with limited functionality.

House Code Default: 0.

Language Switches the display text to the language chosen for use on the

LIFESTYLE

system.

Select this if a language change has been made on the system,

but your PERSONAL

music center does not yet display the new

language.

Indicates which version of the PERSONAL

music center II soft-

ware is currently installed.
