In Case of Difficulty
Although actual servicing should be referred
to qualified personnel, many potential prob-
lems are likely to be the result of improper
hookup, rather than any real defect If you
have any of the following problems, try the
suggested solutions first
Problem:
System doesn't play
Solution:
1 Power (mains) cord may be either
unplugged or improperly connected
Check cord and connections
2 On models equipped with a power switch,
make sure the switch is in the On (I)
position
3 Increase volume
Problem:
No sound with system plugged in
Solution:
Source component is not properly connected
to the system, check connections Also, make
sure that the source itself is operating prop-
erly (CD has been inserted, batteries are
okay, etc) Check volume controls
Problem:
Only one speaker plays
Solution:
The Accessory (RIGHT) speaker may be
improperly connected Check connection,
wires, and terminals
Problem:
Sound is too loud and/or distorted
Solution:
The source component's volume may be too
high Turn the source volume down, and use
the volume control on the Lifestyle™ powered
speaker system
Problem:
Diminished bass
Solution:
Accessory (RIGHT) speaker connections
may be reversed Check connections
If, after trying the above solutions, you are still
having trouble with your Lifestyle powered
speaker system, contact your authorized
Bose® dealer, who will verify any defects and
arrange for service by an authorized service
agency or by the Bose factory Bose Corpora-
tion will make every effort to remedy any prob-
lem within the terms of the warranty, at
minimum inconvenience to you

WB-10 Wall Bracket: Mounts your Lifestyle
powered speaker system directly against a
wall or other surface
MMA-4 Multi-purpose Mounting Arm:
Mounts your Lifestyle powered speaker sys-
tem above a desk, shelf, or table
WC-5, WC-6 Wall/Ceiling Brackets:
Mount your Lifestyle powered speaker system
to the ceiling or walls for the greatest flexibility
Please Note Your Lifestyle powered speaker
system should be mounted only in the man-
ner recommended by Bose Consult the
instructions supplied with the mounting
